Sour Patch and Sister Wrinkly taking Murrieta by storm

Ia ora na to'u mau hoa!

I am determined to write this email quickly, so buckle up for some spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. (What this really means is that if you want to hear the good stories you got to email me!)

On our last p day, we played soccer and I got hit in the face. Which is funny when you consider that the p day BEFORE that, I got hit in the face with a volleyball.Wish we luck and itoito (courage) for today as we go play sports. My greatest fear is that I become "Sister Hit in Head" or "Sister Concussion Magnet."

BUT, other than that, this week was great!

We taught a BOMB lesson to Bill this week. He is sooo ready for baptism. Go Bill!!!

A story from last week that I failed to remember:
We were teaching Marilyn, a super teeny elderly woman. We were teaching about the plan of salvation. All of a sudden, she goes "But what about the ROCKETS?!?!?"
Quoi?
"The president of Amazon went up in a rocket this week!"
Still trying to figure out how it ~connects~ to what we were teaching, but Marilyn sure likes to keep Sister Winkler and I on our toes.

We got to go to the Redlands temple this week! It was sooo pretty and sooo good. I went with the question of "why." Why am I in California? Why am I speaking English when I have put so much effort into learning French and Tahitian? Why do bad things happen? Why can I still not do french rs? Why why why.
But in the temple, I read Romans 8:28, which reads "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
We won't always know the why regarding God's will, because what we can know is that He loves us. What we can know is that things will work out if we trust Him. If we love Him. If we serve others and try to love as Christ loves. We don't have to know the how or when, because we have to power to know that things will work out in God's timing and in God's ways.

I love you all! Laundry is beakoning me (beaconing? beackoning? beckoning?!?). You are all amazing! Never forget that. Never forget that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us perfectly. Things will work out for our good because He loves us! He has a personal plan of never ending happiness for all of us!
Je vous aime! Ua here au ia outou!
Pictures:
Temple!
(What's funny about the stereotypical tag picture is that it is not my hand. Thank you Sister Winkler for taking that picture. Also peep me on my tippy toes and Sister Winkler bending down in a picture of us together.)
Super pretty sunset!
The best way to handle doing work in the non-AC church room.

Nana tout le monde! See you soon!
