Just 2 kittens in the forest

 Iaorana tatou!

I somehow got sick again. I don't LOVE biking in beach winds with a fever, but ça va and I am now feeling a lot better.

Because we didn't have our car, two members picked us up for the fatamaraa (member meal.) We enter the house. Their 8 year old Anapa is quietly standing by the food, waving his hand to swat away the flies.
The mother: "when we went to pick you sisters up, we asked the older kids to fold the laundry and Anapa to keep the flies off the food!"
Which means that this kid just obediently stood above food for maybe 20 minutes, doing nothing but waving his arms. An example of childlike obedience. I love.

I will be transferred to.....

Faaa!

In the Ruatama ward!

The ward I already served in!

I was very very confused when I learned that I will be going back to an old area, but I'm excited. I will be training again. I'm excited to get a second chance to work in Faaa- the first time we didn't get to do a lot of work and I was very very anxious/sad, but this time I know how to speak French, I know how to do work here, etc.
I am really sad to leave Mahina- this ward and its kindness and generosity has helped me so much. Mahina has been both healing and refining- in the last 6 months I have become happy and have seen the blessings that come from our efforts. The love that I have felt from members and friends helps me see a glimpse of the love that Heavenly Father has for us. I think of the people I have met here- Elodie, Puaua, Heihere, Tehaunui, Isabelle, etc- and I realize how much God does love us. He loves me enough to have given me the chance to meet everyone here. I will definitely miss Mahina but I am excited for this new chapter.

We found Elodie this week who is super amazing! She has already read a ton of the Book of Mormon and came to church for the first time yesterday! Will, another friend we recently found, also came! Woohoo!

I need to go pack, and I am also fiu of writing this email, but know that I love you all! Je vous aime tous et ua here au ia outou!
