Iaorana mes amis et ma famille! Bonjour! I loved this awesome quote from Elder Renlund! "My invitation to all of us is to evaluate our lives, repent, and keep on trying. If we don’t try, we’re just latter-day sinners; if we don’t persevere, we’re latter-day quitters; and if we don’t allow others to try, we’re just latter-day hypocrites. As we try, persevere, and help others to do the same, we are true Latter-day Saints. As we change, we will find that God indeed cares a lot more about who we are and about who we are becoming than about who we once were." Thats all folks. Ask my parents if you want stories. Sister Sœur Tuahine Hatch!

Iaoroana tout le monde! The biggest thing that happened this week was we pushed a car! We were driving to a McDonalds to get lunch. Suddenly a woman's car stopped in the intersection! We got out and despite having weak noodle-esque arms, us four sisters pushed the car to a gas station. She was so cute and so grateful! Just that morning, I had studied in preach my gospel about how Christ "went about doing good." As missionaries, we try to go into ever contact as if it would turn into a teaching situation but I LOVE the idea of going into every single interaction as if it would turn into an opportunity to do good. To serve. To uplift. Being in the right place- literally right behind this lady- at the right time - just as her car died- taught us that God will place us in situations where we can do good! On a sadder note, the missionaries around me have learned of the things I despise the most- being sung to and country music. Needless to say, there has been lots o...

Iaorana mes amis et ma famille! This week I was somehow constantly journaling but also constantly behind on journaling, so we will see if I remember anything. We met with Steve this week! Steve is pretty awesome and is the nicest person ever. He is going through a lot right now, so keep him in your prayers! I went on exchanges with Sister Mataele! She is pretty awesome and we had a fun fun time! We had an awkward door contact where I accidentally stepped on the foot of this dude's dog. We had zone conferences which were soooo good! Not going to lie, but I really hated my first zone conference from about a month ago. I didn't feel like I belonged, I knew nobody, and none of the trainings or talks really helped me. It was frustrating, but this week's conference was so much better. I felt the spirit so strongly and have been able to grow closer to many more missionaries! For this zone conference, a "cleanest car competition" was held. We tried our best,...

Iaorana tout le monde! I hope you all had a wonderful week because my week was fantastic! Nothing too crazy this week happened but hopefully I can make an email out of some of this stuff. We went on exchanges! I was with Sister Taylor in the land of young single adult wards. I left a ward activity amazed at just how youthful her ward is. (There is a trailer park retirement community in my area, so our days are normally filled with meeting with old people.) Sister Winkler had a birthday! We ate carrot cake for breakfast. Living the life out here in sunny California. Ua hinaaro vau ia faaite ia outou i te mana'o mo'a iti. (Got to use that toddler-level Tahitian somewhere.) Anyways! I want to share a small spiritual thought! A spiritual thought that I really liked this week was centered around D&C 95:6, the verse that talks about "walking in darkness at noon day." Researchers once were curious if humans could walk in a straight line for long distances with...
